HIMA CF VIOLIN CASE OPEN		 This new Violin case from HIMA ticks all the right boxes with respect of weight, strength and usability. This is the first Carbon Fibre case we have seen with a small built in music pocket (the music sits under a spring loaded clip behind the Bow section).

The case has a Suspension system, 2 Bow holders, Velcro neck fastening, a velcro tie to hold the shoulder rest, a removeable accessory pouch. The case also has a leather handle and subway grip, and 2 straps for rucksack or single strap use.

It weighs approx. 2.2Kg, which whilst not the lightest case around, does show that weight has not been compromised for strength.

JPB Price Only £265, surely the least expensive Carbon Fibre case available.

As always with Gewa, you get top quality GERMAN manufacture, with the support that you expect from the worlds major instrument & case supplier. They are made in 3 weight ranges, the 1.8Kg, which is pure carbon fibre, the 2.0 Kg, which is 80% Carbon Fibre, and silver in the weave to reflect sunlight, and the 2.3Kg which is a carbon fibre reinforced resin case and supplied with a music pocket. All of the cases exhibit a very slim style to assist in acceptance by airlines.

This superb case, has the German quality of manufacture and finish to which we have become accustomed from Gewa, and fills a hole in their range of rectangular violin cases.
The lockable strong thermoshell case has a Black canvas cover with integral music pocket, with either a blue of burgundy plush velvet interior with a blanket. The case has the usual internal storage areas, plus an additional one under the neck. Fitted with an internal hygrometer to ensure that you know how dry or damp it is within the case, to protect your instrument. The suspension system ensures that the instrument is well cushioned from the usual knocks that a case can endure. Fitted with 4 bow holders within a reinforced lid, and a string tube, it has two internal pockets and a leather neck tie and a suspension system. It is supplied with 2 padded straps with carabineer fittings, and metal `D' rings. O. M. MONNICH VIOLIN CASES by GEWA,
being aware that there are some players requiring a Lightweight Carbon Fibre Violin Case, but are finding them often more expensive than they wish to pay, have therefore sourced a new more affordable case. Introduced at the Frankfurt Music Messe in April 2011 to great acclaim, these new Chinese cases have been selected by GEWA to meet their high quality standards, but at a lower price than their own Idea Carbon Fibre cases. They are only available in Europe from GEWA. It is available not only in the natural Carbon Black finish, but in a selection of colours, but unusually the carbon fibre weave is visible even in the coloured case, so that you know that these are genuine Carbon Fibre Cases.
