FUN SHOULDER PADS
Launched in early April 2011 at the Frankfurt Music Messe,
these are a super new product and as always at JPB, we try to be in the
forefront of introducing new ideas. Many teacher's have complained, rightly,
that there are no fairly thin pads, so necessary for younger players, well
there are now. These pads with no fiddly elastic bands or fixing straps are
particularly practical and functional as well as fun.
The pads are about 8mm thick, and are available as shown above. The colours are
specific to the particular aquatic animal.
There is a sticky area on the back of the pad, but this does not damage or
permanently stick to the instrument. The Shoulder pad is supplied with a small
cover which is removed prior to sticking on the instrument. Just safely slip
the cover into your case for replacement after use. The shoulder pad is also
made in 2 sizes of plain round foam for those not wanting a fun design, and
many Baroque players are finding these particularly useful.
