U.K. Joan and Paul Corder have 25 odd years of experience in the Violin Industry so are well able to advise & assist wherever necessary. Our forward looking approach ensures that we keep abreast of new products & innovations, but to still appreciate and support older technologies where appropriate Our sole aim is to provide players of Violins, Violas, Cellos and Basses with strings, cases, accessories and fittings, and for newer players, also instruments and bows of exceptional quality, all at reasonable prices. Note, we are a supplier of the requirements of only the Violin Family of Instruments, and will never diversify into other instruments.
Our Stock list is all encompassing, and we have the stock levels necessary to enable us to normally offer an UNBEATABLE NEXT DAY Delivery Mail Order service. Space limitations prevent us listing everything stocked, so if there is something you want, please enquire.   
We have a huge selection of instruments and bows, and we actively encourage players to visit our trying out room to make their choice. Up to four bows can be sent out on a 2 weeks approval. We are reluctant to send out Instruments on approval due to their fragility, but generally will send the less expensive violin outfits on an approval basis.  
For those happy to browse the Internet, our web-site is deliberately designed to be functional, quick to load and navigate, even with a telephone line connection, thus minimising the time you have to be on the internet. The web-site will be updated regularly. We do not intend offering a 'shopping basket' to enable on-line ordering due to accuracy limitations. To enable immediate access, please add our web-site to your list of favourites. May we suggest that you order, where practicable, by telephone, as through personal contact we can ensure accurate processing of your order. The Catalogue is also available as a 'PDF' file, so that you are able to print it out. The `On Line' Catalogue is currently in Draft form, as we had intended printing and sending it to our many customers. The Global financial situation however has made the formal issuing not viable due to the volatility of prices. Mark the website as one of your favourites, then it will be immediately available to you when you log on. We do not charge a premium for single strings because we know that strings do not break in sets, and also we have NO minimum order value. Our experience enables us to produce a unique range of informative guidance leaflets to assist you in fitting your various purchases. Please check for availability, but remember, they are not a substitute for a luthier, but an aid. Prices shown are in £ sterling & INCLUDE V.A.T., but not postage or carriage (as appropriate), which is charged at cost. Prices are correct as of June 2011. We aim never to be knowingly undersold, but due to current market volatility we are not offering the guarantee that you cannot find it cheaper. As soon as the market and the £ stabilise, we will re-instate the price guarantee. We will also not get involved in down pricing our professionally setup instruments against un-setup instruments from the Internet or High Street retailers who treat the selling of instruments like selling a bag of potatoes! Regrettably prices may be subject to fluctuation, from sources beyond our control. We accept all Major Credit and Debit Cards. We do not accept PAY-PAL, due to security issues. Accounts are available at our discretion, however any goods despatched on an invoice, remain our property, until paid in full, and within 30 days please. For your Insurance needs, we are a Retail Trading Partner of Allianz Musical Instrument Insurance (British Reserve). Please enquire for information. Should you unfortunately find any errors in this online catalogue, please let us know, so that we can ensure that they are corrected, and be assured that mistakes are not deliberate, just human. Extract from Distance Selling Regulations As our service is one which is to be provided within a period of less than 7 working days your right to a "cooling-off" period under the Distance Selling Regulations does not apply. Therefore, if you wish to cancel your order you must do so before we begin to process your order. Because we process & post most orders shortly after receipt of instructions you must either telephone our customer services department (01934 628600) straight away, or send an email to sales@jpbmusic.com.
